Durango Furniture & Mattress is the culmination of two long-running Durango furniture stores; Ashley HomeStore at 835 Main Avenue, and Willis Furniture at 1474 Main Avenue.
Our downtown showroom (formerly Ashley), has always been known for having the latest styles at the best prices. The friendly, non-commissioned sales staff works with each customer to ensure they find exactly the right product, whether it’s a sofa, mattress, or comfy recliner. With a nearly 5-star rating from well over 100 Google reviews, it is apparent that folks come in as customers and leave as friends.
Our clearance center (formerly Willis), provides an outstanding assortment of both new, value-conscious furniture and mattresses, as well as Durango’s largest and best assortment of previously cherished items. Before our used items make it to the sales floor, they are cleaned and inspected to ensure they meet our strict standards, and then priced significantly, VERY significantly lower than what a comparable new item would retail for.
As a small, locally owned and operated business, we re-branded these two locations to emphasize our dedication to “local first”. The owners, managers, and staff of Durango Furniture & Mattress have well over 100 combined years of experience in the furniture and bedding business. Our General Manager is an alumnus of Durango High School and Fort Lewis College, and got his start in the furniture industry in 1992. Our lead delivery driver is a graduate of Durango High School and honorably discharged Marine. Clearly, we have a culture of locals serving locals.
